Instructor Request
A potential instructor is:
Any person who has the necessary technical and pedagogical means to prepare, teach and train people with the appropriate knowledge for the development and acquisition of skills.
Prepare your Video-Class sample.
Once you are accepted as an instructor, our internal team and partners will be available to help you prepare your course for students to enjoy.
If you wish to become an instructor on our platform, we ask that you provide the following information:
Full name, email, resume (PDF), link to a sample video (Vimeo, YouTube, or any other streaming platform), and to upload a 2-minute video lesson.
Take a 2 minute video lesson:
Depending on the subject of the course, it could be screen recording, physical scenery, landscapes, and more.
Provide good video and audio quality, with no (or minimal) background noise.
Upload the video to a streaming platform (preferably Vimeo).
Copy the video link and paste it into the form.
Submit your sample video by uploading it to the form.
By “good quality video” we mean:
HD, 720p or 1080p with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
Well-focused, stable, and properly zoomed in with a clear background to allow students to focus their attention properly. It is preferable to change the scenery during your videos to retain the attention of the students.
Good lighting and no distractions in the video frame, so you and your content appear as clear and professional as possible.
Quality when offering content.
It’s not just what you’re imparting, but also how you do it.
a) Speak clearly and fluently, avoiding the excessive use of fillers such as “So… uhm… well…”
b) An enthusiastic tone of voice (note that your recording device may affect this).
c) The use of pauses to emphasize something important.
